Term 1 & 2
We always start a story by writing a plan the way we writ the plan is we have the intro, the middle which is made up of 3 paragraphs and the conclusion. We also have ideas coming off the main idea of that paragrph it is called flesh . Say if the paragraph is about a dog in a house the ideas coming off this paragraph could be the wet hairy dog, the old brown house. This way of planning helps me writ a better story. I learnt all of this this year.
I have spelling every Thursday to help me spell and read words that I find hard. I go on a website called spelling city. Were I chose 5 words and do actives on the 5 words. Some of the actives we do are word finds, cross words and games. I find it helps me a lot with my spelling.
I have written a lot of stories on different things like portals and holidays. On the holidays we wrote a story on a holiday you have been on and we could change what happened on the holiday. On the portal story we wrote about a portal and the people in the story had to go in and come back out of the portal. This year I am focusing on making my story have more detail in it. I have also been writing letters I have written afromal and an informal letter. I thought it was had to keep my forma letter formal.The formal letter was that I was telling them about some milk I gotand when I got hom it was off.The infromal letter was about I was in the war and I was writing a lette to my family .
